Finance Manager (12 Months FTC)

Puzzling.com is a mobile games developer based in Leamington Spa. We are looking for a finance professional to cover for maternity.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE
The ideal candidate will be an experienced qualified finance professional possibly looking to step into a more commercial finance role, with the following attributes:
- A self-confident individual that can easily relate to others
- Connects Finance’s short and long-term plans to business objectives
- Understand cross-functional priorities, plans and objectives
- Detailed oriented and able to work to tight deadlines during month and year end, prioritising accordingly
- Clear presenter and report builder – able to guide the user to the key information quickly and effectively
- Able to balance multiple responsibilities at once
- Adaptable to a fast paced and dynamic industry
RESPONSIBILITIES
Covering two areas, responsibilities will include:
Accounting & Compliance
- Produce monthly management accounts
- Manage and implement accrual accounting within the entities
- Perform Balance Sheet reconciliations
- Produce quarterly VAT calculations and submit to authorities
- Produce year-end financial statements to local standards
- Support year end audit (lead from group)
- Manage AP/AR, Expenses and Banking processes
FP&A
- Manage CAPEX spend
- OPEX management
- Provide guidance and analysis on financial performance
- Manage annual budgeting and forecast process
- Run the weekly outturn (short-term reforecast)
- Ah hoc and additional analysis as time allows
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
- Strong analytical skills
- Excellent teamwork, communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong proficiency in Excel and other Microsoft Office Applications
- Experience of Dynamics 365 is preferred
