An Active Project is an Animation that has been saved by the User for future editing. When an User is signed into his or her Player account, he or she can see his or her Active Projects in the "My Animations" section of Sketch Star.
An Animation is a still or moving artwork created by an User by using Sketch Star which Animation may be saved, submitted or published on Sketch Star as the case may be.
An Award is a badge of honour granted to a Player by a Judge to appear on the Player's account where a Player created an oustanding Animation.
An Animation which is deemed 'clean' by a Moderator, which means that the Animation does not infringe the Animation Standards. These Animations shall be published on the SS Channel.
A competition where Players can submit Animations created according to the contest's theme. At the end of the contest, a panel of Judges will declare the contest's 3 winners (gold, silver, bronze) who receive a corresponding contest Award.
A Moderator with special rights that allow him/her to pick extraordinarily beautiful Animations from the pool of Clean Animations or Pending Animations.
An Animation that has been selected by an Editor for its outstanding quality.
An User who does not have a Sketch Star subscription and therefore is not a Member.
A Moderator with special rights that allows him/her to like for an Animation that has been submitted to a Contest. After a Contest has ended, Judges will meet online or otherwise to determine 1st, 2nd and 3rd place winners of a Contest.
A Judge that chairs the Judge's meeting and has the final word in deciding the 3 winners of the Contest. The Master Judge may vary each month.
An User who pays for a Sketch Star subscription.
A person who decides whether an Animation is a Clean Animation or not and whether it is suitable to be published on the SS Channel following Miniclip's moderation guidelines for visual content. If in doubt Moderator can mark an Animation as Questionable.
The first version of the Sketch Star Animation Creator, this version is no loger supported.
An Animation that has not been approved by a Moderator yet.
A Player is a person who is signed into his or her Miniclip Players account when using Sketch Star and is also known as a Free User or a Member.
A submitted Animation that appears on Sketch Star for all Users to see.
A Pending Animation might become 'questionable' in one of the following 2 cases:
1. A Moderator finds in the queue of Pending Animations and is unsure whether to mark it as clean or delete it.
2. A user puts a 'swear word' on the title or tags when they publish the Animation.
These Animations appear on the 'Questionable' tab in the SS Bakery. these should be dealt with by a senior Moderator.
An Animation that has been reported by another User as 'unsuitable'. It appears in the 'Reported' tab in the SS Bakery. Moderators decide whether an Animation is suitable or not following Miniclip's moderation guidelines for visual content.
A Player may save his/her Animation and refer back to the Animation for Editing. Different categories of Players may save different amounts of Animations per month.

The web-based administration interface that is used to moderate Animations, access stats, set contests, and much more.
A Player may submit an Animation to Sketch Star, which may be subject to moderation before it gets published. Different Players may submit different amounts of Animations as the case may be.
An User is a person that uses Sketch Star and may belong to any of the following categories:
Any User who either has not signed into his/her Player's account or does not have a Miniclip Player's account. An unsigned user may browse Sketch Star and is able to create Animations using the Sketch Star Animation Creator but cannot save the Animations until signed in as a Player.
A Player who has not yet reached the age of 13 and who does not have a Sketch Star subscription. A Free Under 13 User may submit Animations, but the Animations will not be published on Sketch Star for the public to view.
A Player who is 13 years old or older and who does not have a Sketch Star subscription. A Free Over 13 User may save 100 Animations and submit as many as 4 Animations per month. Every Animation submitted by a Free Over 13 User will have to be approved by a moderator before being published on Sketch Star for the public to view.
A Player who has not reached the age of 13 yet and who is subscribed to Sketch Star. An Under 13 Member may save 200 Animations and submit as many as 100 Animations per month. Every Animation submitted by an Under 13 Member will have to be approved by a moderator before being published on Sketch Star for the public to view.
A Player who is 13 years old or older and who is subscribed to Sketch Star. An Over 13 Member may save 200 Animations and may submit 100 Animations per month. Every Animation submitted by an Over 13 Member will be published on Sketch Star for the public to view unless reported and removed because it does not comply with the Moderation Standards.
A Player may 'like' any or all published Animations created by other Players. The more 'likes' an animation gets the higher it will rank in the 'Top Liked' gallery.

Before you start on the beautiful details of your animation, try drawing a simple outline. This way, you can get the overall composition looking great, and you can make sure everything's going to fit in the frame! Once you're filling in the details, you can start deleting your outline if you don't need it any more.
